Kristen R. Ball

Kristen is an accomplished writer and editor. She has a BA in English from Smith College and an MA in English from Ohio State University. She has taught high school English and college English at Ohio State University. As a teacher, Kris has an eagle eye when it comes to editing. She has extensive research and writing skills and the ability to make copy come alive. Her article on "Dance in Virginia" was the lead piece for the March 2006 edition of Soul of Virginia magazine. She has worked on a variety of products for Home Row including an annual report for the Women's Center in Vienna, Virginia and copy for the Melwood Garden Center holiday catalog.

Jessica Rae Francis

Jessica is a senior at George Mason University majoring in English with a minor in film studies and a concentration in cultural studies. As our incredible intern ,Jessica is trying her hand at high-level research, newsletter writing, press release development, and helping Home Row Editorial staff stay on track.

Philip Joncas

Philip has a BA in Art with a concentration in Digital Media from Catholic University. He is a multimedia consultant with over five years experience developing, designing, and managing Websites and rich media projects for a variety of clients and their customers. Trina Kaye

Trina makes connections. As a public relations consultant, she regularly connects the press to her clients creating national news coverage. She also works with brand strategists to connect targeted media with multi-media branding and marketing opportunities. Read Trina's full biography.

Kristin Loiacono

Kristin is a former associate director of media relations for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.  She has a master's degree in journalism and has experience working as both a print and television reporter.  Her areas of expertise include crafting feature length newspaper and magazine articles, ghostwriting op-eds, and preparing people for interviews with the media.

Dawn Whalen

Dawn holds an M.A. in Education and Human Development, with a concentration in consulting, from The George Washington University. She brings to Home Row Editorial more than 10 years experience as a subject matter expert in healthcare, human resources, corporate IT training, and most recently, owner and director of a technology education company. As an educator and businesswoman, Dawn understands the power of the written word to attract the right customers to your business.
